Delivering Christmas in a Box
Christmas is coming and we are preparing for the holiday season once again. We want to embrace the true meaning of Christmas and deliver a hamper of food to two local families going through hard times.
Our team have been so generous in their donations over the last few years, and it has been much appreciated by the families involved. This year, we are collecting for two families again, one in the South Hams and one in our Pebbles of Downderry area.
The idea is to give a family all that they need to have a great Christmas day, so, as before, we are collecting goodies in a hamper, then taking it to each location where it is going to be given to a special family who has been assigned to us. This year is a particularly difficult year again for so many.
Pebbles will be providing a turkey to each location. Along with the crackers, Christmas pudding and cake, our team will provide for a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. We appreciate being able to make a difference and provide a Christmas present to people that really need it.
